In this problem, a sequence is generated starting with an initial natural number n . The rule for generating the next natural number in the sequence is; if n is even, the next natural number in the sequence is n /2, or if n is odd, the next natural number in the sequence is 3 n +1. For example, if the initial value of n is 17, the sequence generated is {17, 52, 26, 13, 40, 20, 10, 5, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1, 4, 2, 1, ...}.
